End of the trip and sketch dump, a little cartoon of myself as we are taking the train from Florence back to Paris to board our plane. Needless to say, it was a very, very long train ride…

Two busts that I drew. One, top, was from Versailles. The other, bottom, was from the Louvre.

Sketch from the Natural History Museum again. Very feminine-looking angel guy haha.
There was originally a giant head that was looking down at the angel guy creepily, but I didn’t include him. XP

As the sketch indicates, this was done from a skull found at the Natural History Museum in Paris. Also drawn during a long train ride.

Sketch from my small sketchbook that I did on a train ride. Later made a watercolor out of it.

Back in the US— (and getting over jetlag)

It has been a week since I have come back to the US and I have to say, I’ve finally gotten over jetlag. I haven’t been able to stay up past 10 every day of this week. I don’t remember my jetlag being this bad when I came back from England.

I had an amazing experience abroad in France and Italy.  I met great people and saw artwork that I had learned about all my life. Not only did I learn more about the countries I visited, but I learned more about the adventurer in me. It was definitely a trip I will never forget.

Anyway, I will be uploading sketches and finished paintings from my trip this weekend =)
